As the Nery diorama draws to a close Ive started a 200mm Guy Gibson Figure.

That's some nice shading, highlighting and blending started.

Are you using waterbased or oils Gary?


Ps, as good as it is, it doesn't look anything like my mate Guy Gibson... Lol

Do you get a choice of ranks & decorations?

Face paint looks GOOD !!

Fabulous shading, as stated before! That is an art in itself.

you know if you go to the 617 Sqn museum they have the dogs collar on display, but cos of the pc brigade the name tag is turned so its not on view.................theres a new movie being written at the moment, the dog has been renamed

Paul, its very sad that they don't call the dog by his correct name. I believe they changed his name to Digger in the dam busters film too, bloody pathetic. He'll have his name on the base of my model though.

Thanks guys, done a bit more rough blocking in, made the tethers for the air bottle and tube from wine bottle foil and created a bowl in his pipe, as it was solid.
