1933 Willys Gasser (Ohio Geaorge)

Dropped buy my local hobby shop and picked up this special edition Ohio George kit.
Basic build. I added some trunk pins to hold the trunk lid in place (rather than glue it in place) Covered in the sunroof, wired the fuel injection, added chute strap and cables and did the park plug wires. Paint is Testors Sky blue mixed with about 30% white. It dried dull so shot it with clear. It could be a little lighter to match the 1:1 but I'm happy with the result.

Nice work Brent. You don't see this kit built much. people always complain about the fit of the hood to the body. You seem to have done a great job with it.

Buck the kit has it short comings no question about it. Had to take a bunch of material off of the top of the transmission as the interior was having clearance issues with the trans. This also allowed me to scoot the body forward a bit to meet up with the hood properly.

Al, good to be back. It gave me some motivation to get this build done knowing I could post the finished product here. Got another one on the bench so we will see if I can get two in a row done LOL.
