Revell Spad XIII 1/28th scale
Well here it is, as flown by ......
1/Lt. Long, 93rd Aero Sqd, 3rd Pursuit Group, United States Air Service.
France, October 1918.
Made a cockpit roll for the edge out of some wire insulation
simple rigging yet looks quite complex
Not much to see of the inside as i thought.
Decals are really top quality
Made a step from twisted wire as he original was mis-shapen
And as per usual the pictures show a few areas i need to touch up .... consider it done. :)

Sheesh! It looks good enuf to fly! The extra touches you added and the wing wiring really make it. The camouflage looks almost WWII in style and that they left some panels in bare metal makes me wonder what they were thinking in those days.
The U.S. Public TV show "Nova" did an episode on the evolution of planes in WWI, showing clips of manufacturing too. A good episode and your plane brings it to "in scale" life!
It sure looks great now all done, I.M. Envious!

Nice job all round Colin. The fourth photo really shows it off well......
Interesting point: While your kit box art diffeers to mine, they share the same kit number but have a different decal set. Mine are for Marcel Coadou or Eddie Rickenbacker!!

Beautiful work Colin. That new red white and blue job looks interesting, one would really notice this one entering the battle.
