Happy Thanksgiving
From the Staff to all the members Happy Thanksgiving. I know some of our members don't live in the US. The holiday is very simple we celebrate all we have to be thankful for. Country, freedom, family and Skid's Place.

We have a similar celebration called 'Harvest Festival' although not as widely celebrated these days.
Taken from Wiki:
In Britain, thanks have been given for successful harvests since pagan times. Harvest festival is traditionally held on the Sunday near or of the Harvest Moon. This is the full Moon that occurs closest to the autumn equinox (about Sept. 23). In two years out of three, the Harvest Moon comes in September, but in some years it occurs in October. The celebrations on this day usually include singing hymns, praying, and decorating churches with baskets of fruit and food in the festival known as Harvest Festival, Harvest Home or Harvest Thanksgiving. wrote:

Re: Happy Thanksgiving
Hope all our US friends had a wonderful day.
As Al mentioned we have a similar harvest festival here which is less and less celebrated which is a shame.
Here in Scotland there's a stronger urge to keep traditions alive as opposed to what I experienced back in England.
We still have village gala days which seem to have disappeared from schools around the Midlands in England.

Enjoying the 4 day weekend. I'll likely finish 3 models that I've had in progress. Weird because I usually only get 4 or 5 done in a year.
Thankful for all things and that I'm healthy enough to enjoy my family and my hobbies.
