Big General
Struggling thru a very physically uncomfortable week, and fighting the assembly of the front end, I went to bed Monday night with every intention of pulling my nice Hemi out and introducing the MPC portion of this thing, suddenly, to the far wall of the shop.
But, I didn't. I'll just live with it. I will have to redo the hood, though.

It may have been a difficult build Clay, but it's full of great tips and ideas,
I for one are glad that you have built it, bugs and all !

That engine is a work of art. Love it. The graphics are wonderful. Despite the challenges, it looks great!

Re: Big General
I love the look of this one front the front. That is what a fast car should look like. SCARY!!! I know it wasn't a smooth build but man it is a beauty.

Re: Big General
It may not be your shining hour Clay but the engine looks great and it will still look good on the shelf.

Just a little add on to show that I actually did fix and repaint the hood. I think with a better set of front wheels, this wouldn't look so tacky!

Bit of a trial to get to where it is now, and I'm glad you persevered with it, I think it looks great, the engine bay is really impressive.

Fine work, Clay. I love the scratchbuilt motor. Doesn't look a bit scratchbuilt in that engine bay.

Sometimes we are our own worst critics. I personally think you did an excellent job with a build that was more than challenging.

Re: Big General
That is an awesome build Clay. My question is, are the larger kits harder to display? lol
