Looks simple enough. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

with a tamiya jar so you can gauge the size of this tiddler!

as normal with armour ive added some weight to make it sit on the tracks, used some plasticine and a little lump of scrap steel i picked up somewhere

I have often wondered why modelers add weight to these models, now I think I understand. The model isn't heavy enough to sit on the tracks properly. To compress them so to speak. Looks good from here.

Looking good Paul,  are you on doing it as per the box art or have you found an unusual paint scheme ?

I used to use lead pellets (air rifle) to get them sitting right,  now I just paint the tracks with pva and add a heavy weight to the tank whilst drying, seems to work as well for me ..... Might be worth a try to see what you think.

i decided to have a go at airbrushing it...........having some serious AB problems.....my Iwata has decided to not want to play the game at all so i dug out an old badger AB that i gave up on about 3 years ago, gave it a mega clean and managed to get it to sort of work,.....still couldnt get a clean narrow line but this will do

the scurzen are just blutacked on so i could get the pattern of the paint to match the main part of the vehicle cos i staill havnt added the tracks yet and they would be almost impossible to go on after the scurzen are on

next stages are gloss coat, decals, wash, matt coat, weathering

had a play with the base,........im going to remove some of the dried mud, dont think it works properly, and i might add some flowers

Ha, look at the size of it!! mega fiddly though with those micro pieces of plastic I imagine.

Looking good Paul

Good luck with sorting your airbrush out, finally got mine working again and devised a way to clean it which so far, has worked every time.

The internal mix air brushes can be time consuming to clean, but I think there are ways to make a sealed "cleaning jar" to spray whatever thinner thru to get rid of paint. Even then, it makes sense to take them apart. When external feed ones act up, cleaning is easier, but still needs doing with occasional full "take apart" cleaning wise too.

its looking good Paul.

I take my Iwata apart everytime I use it, never have any problems. Someone did a tutorial on cleaning an airbrush at eScale, it really helped me.

so do i....i store it stripped down and put it together before use.....i honestly think my problem might be compressor related, not the AB

finished....
got the Scurzen side armour on, gave it all a wash. i used a old tin of enamel to make the wash and it didnt disolve properly, came out 'bitty' for want of a better discription, but i didnt realise until after i had applied it.....thing is i think it sort of worked!.....its all come out a bit grubby
wanted to add some mud and tried some textured stuff i picked up made by Citadel. its obviously supposed to be used for bases for little Warhammer figures but its still worth trying stuff out. seems a bit thin for stuff like 1/35 but seems ok on braille scale,...used a flat stiff synthetic brush to gently smear on here and there
played about with the base, added some little flowers just to break it up and give it some colour
more pics in the finished thread
