These are in "homebase" in the UK
They're going for 1 earth pound at the mo.

look to be useful, strong yet gentle due to the rubber coating on the tips.

Colin:  How is the spring pressure on these??  I bought several at a local surplus store, but they proved to be too strong and did me some damage a couple  of times.

Testing one against a standard clothes peg into a piece of plasticine was about four times greater force (technical.... i know lol) so quite strong John, i think body panels could warp or split/crack with the heat of the poly cement in the equation as well as the force of one or more of these.
i'll be using them for holding balsa, card and similar so they should be ok.
