Well I did an oops 
Sara is the 1944 version, must of had the wrong glasses on when I was looking
1944 Version Armament:
16 5-inch/38 caliber
96 40mm in 24 quad mounts
16 20mm
The flight deck isn't correct, in 1944 they made the forward elevator bigger and plated up the rear one, the flight deck in the kit has the small forward elevator and the rear showing but I'm going to let that go cause I want to get this done without a hassle.
Sara was painted in camouflage measure 32/11A ( light gray, ocean gray and dull black ) but she never wore them in combat, in Nov. 1944 she had a collision with a destroyer off Hawaii and had repair work at Pearl Harbor and was repainted in navy blue. I bet some heads and stripes rolled on that one
back to work on Sara and see what I can get done
