Al's new message

I got the message from Al about receiving the newsletter, first one I have ever had.
I went into my profile then preferences and the only change I made was the first line, Allow members to contact me by e-mail, it's set to NO when you join, changed it to yes and went to the bottom and clicked save. I think they are not seeing the newsletter as a newsletter but as an e-mail which if that line is not set to yes you won't get any thing.
Hope this will take care of the problem with this change but to check it for sure we will need an update to the newsletter sent out in about a week after members that have not got a newsletter make the change in their profile   

John:  Good thought.  The only problem is my profile is already set that way and I'm still not getting the newsletter.   

Just checked mine and it to was set to no, so I have changed it to yes, however the yes box was checked to accept the newsletter so the other shouldn't really make any difference, but will try it anyway...

John, an e-mail and a news letter are a different type of message sent out.

I've got no to emails and yes to newsletters...... And I've not missed one yet.
