What's the weather like where you are ?

Just back from my constitutional 5 mile walk - and the weather is great in my part of the world.

The summer has been dragging it's feet, but today is warm and sunny (68f /20c) with blue skies.

After a wetter than normal spring and a slow start for the summer we are finally getting some nice weather. 69 and sunny yesterday. Aberdeen, Washington.

22c here .... ithink Scotland has had a mind burp as it's not raining

Who do they say the sun shines on??   

Here in northern Utah we have been running in the low to mid 90s (f) for the last week or so.  Yesterday though, a dry cold front came through and today the temperature is expected to be about 85.  We are expected to be back in the mid to high 90s by Sunday. 

The attached photo is take from the front walk of our condo.



The mountains in the background are known as the Wasatach Front, a western foot hill range of the Rocky Mountains.  Appearances are deceiving in that the higher peak in the photo is over 10,000 feet.  I must admit, the UK is looking beautiful this week.  I think maybe Al has a rogue cloud over him.  

That's Utah! Passed thru once and stopped in Salt Lake City. The white buildings in the heat and clear air looked like mirages. Eng. and Scotland have felt effects of global warming and so will be a bit warmer than historical days. Some grape growing for wine moved there from France.
In the Midwest U.S., cold Spring and late warming make for a feeling of a late short Summer. 60s and rain lately but later next week Florida type heat and humidity. Many shrubs, roses, etc had die off from evil Winter.

It's been going around 105/F to 109/F here in balmy Phoenix, AZ and I love it    with 9% humidity, and no rain which we need   

Here in Beaverton, Oregon, today was in the mid 70's (F), with a few puffy clouds. This evening, we are starting to get some high clouds, as we are to get some rain showers Thursday and Friday. Then it is back to sunny weather.

Got in a 40 mile bicycle ride this morning!!! Perfect weather and temps for riding.

If it doesn't rain for a week and temperatures head into the high seventies, - it's called a heat wave over here !

 

Central Florida on the Gulf coast....Mid day in the 80's. Had some rain in the last two days.

23 degrees C in Dublin today, I beat you by One degree Ron! LOL

Today is cloudy here... THey said it should rain. I hope not... :D

A heat wave in Phoenix is from 118/F to 140/F   

And we stay cool with cold BEER and a pool   

80, then 50, then 40, back up to 70, then 50,etc.etc.etc. All (f). With thunder, rain, hail, and one try at a tornado. (it kept trying to form right above the shop). Its really crazy weather here at this time of year. Unseasonably green and wet at the moment.

Truth! Sun reflecting off white salt, no trees, heat waves visibly shimmering up from the ground. And heat, unless they get one of those heavy, rare rains. I hear hell is like that, but with humidity.

JUNE 17,---------JUNE 17!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ONLY IN UTAH.

We had a wet cold front blow through today.  Temperatures dropped over 20 degrees from earlier this week.  Of course it was cloudy with low visibility all day.  This evening the clouds parted and look at the mountain range just behind us.



Utah in the late spring, love it!!

Here on June 17th  in Victoria BC it is 13  degrees C. Tomorrow expecting 18 degree C. Sunny with a bit of cloud. If you stay inside on nice days like these, to work on models, GUILT sets in.
