Tamiya 1966 VW Beetle

Finished and quite pleased with it!!
Thanks to Ron and Pete for the bonnet/boot advice
First attempt at a louvre and dropping a window..........
p.s. it does sit level, the felt on the dog kennel is uneven.

Colin, looks great. Nice job on the details.
The next one should have the subie/radial/jet/fusion engine!!!!

A really nice Volkswagen model Colin, - which had me wanting to buy another beetle,
and a good attempt at the rear window louvres
but I personally have never liked them
- even on real Lamborghinis, or Mach 1 Mustangs.
( just my preference, you understand).

Under bonnet ( the front one) & engine detailing rocks. Like the colour too.
I don't think the black & silver wheels suit, but from memory that's how some came from the factory.
And only my crackpot opinion anyway...........
