Re: Eunos roadster, concept track car.
Other than the roll cage looking a little large in diameter I think it rocks.

It's a great concept Colin and does look good.
I agree with Buck, the cage looks a bit to large in dia. What dia styrene did you use?
Also the wind deflectors loo a bit to upright to me.

Re: Eunos roadster, concept track car.
I might also add that the image needs flipped so the steering wheel is on the CORRECT side...
I will go along with Al on the windscreens and diameter of the roll cage tubing. I also think that roundels would set it off with some kind of sponsership logo.

Re: Eunos roadster, concept track car.
I used 3.2? mm tube for most of the cage as I wanted a really heafty look, the normal stuff I use is what the back Brace is made from.
The screens are a little too upright, I did think of cutting them off and sanding them to a fuller slope but ended up leaving them.
I'm going to add some decals I think, just a bit of detail to break up the lines a bit.
Thanks for the constructive comments.

It's all wrong !!!!!
The idea is to start these models - then leave them half built as WIP's
You are not supposed to finish them !!!
... but it's still a great model !!!

Steering wheel is on the wrong side Colin!!!
Most roll cages are 37.5 to 50mm dia Colin so you certainly have a beefy one at 80mm!!!!
Would it have roundels if it's a track day car?? Just a thought.

Looks like some of the rent a race car Mazda MX-5s that run at Lakeside Raceway.
Looks good too. The roll cage is perfect for a rent a race car. They probably use it more than usual.

Pretty much agree with the suggestions.
Nice to have the great interior detailing visible.
Graphics would really help sell this a s a competition car.

Re: Eunos roadster, concept track car.
I agree with previous comments on bulky roll cage. Interior is excellent, and needs to be since it's topless machine. The squarish and small scoop doesn't blend all that well with the model's rounded lines and the rounded wind deflectors for driver and passenger. It's a cute idea. If it's meant to be a race car in "primer" now decals. If it's meant to be regular street racer, maybe a small decal or two.
