Re: Uploading photos on iPad or Mac
You would be able to upload images on anything with this site as it uses URLs to link to image.
If you use the free hosting that's provided with the forum, by using the "host it" function when inserting image then you shouldn't have any problems.
I've just tried on my tablet and it works.
There's a "how to" for uploading images on here, just follow that on your tablet/Ipad, it should work the same for pc/mac/andriod/ios and anything with a browser to be honest.

Thanks guys
Colin, when I post the pic it puts a link to the pic on serigraphy.com.
When you click the link you can see the pic but can't get the pic itself into the post.
Sure it's me, I'll keep trying.

Re: Uploading photos on iPad or Mac
Never heard of that image hosting site so would know how it operated. I did try going to the site but got an error saying it was unable to be accessed.
Have you used it before for other forums? Maybe it's like Google drive and doesn't allow direct url linking unless you mess with it.
I'd just use the hosting site that comes with the site, it's very simple and is how photobucket "used" to be before it went all upmarket and overcomplicated heh heh.

Colin it's the host that came up on this site, when I tried to post a pic
Www.servimg.com
They even sent me an email.
When I click the pic icon on the toolbar a box appears with their
Logo in the top left and an option to choose a file as per the
Instructions in the topic you mentioned. But it won't let me copy the pic into the post

Ah right.... Your post said serigraphy.com, did autocorrect do its thing there :-)
Bit strange this.....
If you go to the host site and log in as per your email instructions.
Choose an image you've uploaded there.
Click "links" below the photo.
Find "image url" under "bbcode" heading
Copy this and then paste into your text box.
That should work.

Hi Gary,
I think I might have sorted of solved the posting problem, on the links you have posted it has preview image written in the link - https://servimg.com/view/18773263/4 , I use Chrome at the moment so when I right clicked on the image, I clicked on the 'open image in new tab', which opened up the image with it's proper URL address which is...: - https://i.servimg.com/u/f58/18/77/32/63/image13.jpg
Then just add {URL} {/URL} (use the [] instead of the {} ones) on either end as in...: -

Hope that helps...
