Re: Ferrari Team Hauler
That's a great looking engine - many possibilities for detailing in a display piece.

Re: Ferrari Team Hauler
Yeah...I'd like to find some detail pics of real engines to detail another kit. There is a lot of hoses and such on these things

Looking good.
I've had a quick look on the 'net and there isn't much out there.
Main 'wiring' is hard line from the injector module to each cylinder head.

Re: Ferrari Team Hauler
Time to get the trailer started. I carefully glued the sides with a square.
This will give you a feeling for how big the trailer is.
Despite my best efforts to keep everything in alignment.....the front corner had a gap which needed filling.

Re: Ferrari Team Hauler
I would be happy to have such a small gap with those large panels. Nice work Paul.

Re: Ferrari Team Hauler
Actually, Buck, like you said, even though there was a gap....I'm happy with how small it was considering the size of the pieces. I was expecting larger problems.
Engine mounted in chassis with some more parts.
I taped the cab up to get a feel of how it is going to look.

Re: Ferrari Team Hauler
Yea Buck, they are a pain. Many of the big rig cabs are multi-piece, and as Paul said, a pain to put together straight. Mine usually end up with some gaps that need filling!

Thanks Buck
Not wanting to spend a fortune on model rattle(poof) cans, I found some acrylic spray paint at Home Depot and shot all of the bodywork at one time.

A great looking interior. Looks like that trailer took a heap of paint.

Re: Ferrari Team Hauler
Thanks Mike. The trailer took more than the standard hobby sized spray can!
With the painting done, I put the trailer suspension on it.
