Civilians needed
I have been looking, without success, for some figures for my next dio.
What I am looking for is a max of four figures: A mechanic for inside, a garage owner for out front, and maybe a couple of civilians also for out front
I could probably do it by buying single resin figures but the cost is way more than I'm prepared to pay.
If anyone can help, I'd be grateful.
I found this one and thought I could have some fun placing them in a dark corner of the garage. The mind boggles at the possibilities!!!!

Hi Al,
Not sure if these are of any use, I have bought some styrene from them in the past, the post is a little slow, maybe a week or two (from China)...: - Everest Models - People
Hope it's of some help...

Re: Civilians needed
So I didn't. Sorry. They need to be 1:35th scale Paul.
Thanks for the link Andy. However there are no 1:35 scale there. Some of the 1:30 would work but their clothing is too modern.
I'm also on the lookout for a 1940's style 1:35 scale fuel pump too.

Italeri had a Luftwaffe female in one their kits. Can't recall which one though.
From memory she was in a long dress & a cap. Very static pose though, not like this young lady!

It's amazing neither the kit companies nor the aftermarket makers have gone "big time" in providing affordable mass-produced figures in different scales. Ah well, when we all have our computer controlled 3-D printers (and our jet packs) it will be different!

Re: Civilians needed
Al, you might want to look around department stores for clearance of Christmas items. I've found figures that belong to various themed villages. They're dressed in 1890's and 1920's style clothing and some villages have stuff like street lamps, traffic signals, park benches, well pumps, mail boxes, shrubs, trees, fences, etc. The ones I've gotten are close to 1/32 scale and prepainted. There are also some that seem to be 1/48 or smaller. After the holidays, stuff here is clearanced drastically.
A cheap source for diorama fill pieces. You might find them on ebay also.

That's a thought. Thanks for the idea Mike.

I recently found a site for 1/24 scale "Ulrich Mini men" Located in Colorado and from a check on e-bay they seem reputable. Pack of 2 mini men (posable and sitting or standing, goes for $6 plus shipping?). Though all look identical, they at least are both easy to fit into many positions and can be adapted as drivers or spectators. Here's the site http://www.ulrichmodels.biz/servlet/the-590/Ulrich-Mini-dsh-Men-1-fdsh-24th-Scale/Detail.

I was hoping to make use of this myself, but the link appears to be broken. Kept getting an error message.
