What Next? Larry Watson T-Bird or a '32 ??
I've always liked Larry Watson's Thunderbird since seeing it on the cover of Custom Cars Annual, back in 1960,
and now having the Monogram '58 in my stash, I think it is time to build a reproduction of that car.
The T-Bird has been through several paint jobs, but I'll be going for the original.
...but I'm also itching to build a rod - decisions, decisions ??

I LUV customs, but that one is just so-so. I'd go with a '32, you have more freedom to do it any way, race, custom, mild street rod of an era, etc. Also, you have innumerable choices for paint schemes, decals, suspension, wheels.
The '32 gets my vote.

...of course - I'll be doing both.
I have plans for an early '32 full-fendered roadster with fat whitewalls, white upholstery, and open bonnet
- not sure of the paint yet, but based on the Monogram kit.
And the early version of the T-Bird was more of a purple shade, with flipper hubcaps but without the bullet grille,
and plans are afoot for that.
Let's see if I can get them finished before Christmas.
