.... this was my first attempt at building a factory stock automobile ........... many mistakes, but it was a start

Not bad !
I had that kit for several years. Thought the car was too homely to build. Finally used the front clip for a roundy round 40 Ford, and much later, cut up the body and made a funny car on a regular funny car chassis.
I have since seen some nice builds from it.

No mistakes especially, engine color I'm not sure on and maybe some window trim should have black rubber and "no-draft" post maybe chrome, but all else looks great. I have a calendar and it has a pale yellow '41 convertible, and it's not homely! Luv the engine wiring, rear emblem and chrome trim!!
