Challenger 1 MBT
This was my first foray into scale armour; started a month ago, finished this afternoon. This Revell kit is excellent in my opinion; tiny it may be (1/72), but the fit is great and the detail on this kit could put a lot of larger scale kits to shame. I've definitely enjoyed my first scale armour build and when I can find another kit I like, I shall build another in my braille scale armour/plane rotation. I cobbled together a basic diorama base using a handful of odds and sods. Thanks to Paul (Beowulf) who helped me out on this one, it was immensely appreciated and it's nice to pick up some new skills and broaden one's horizons. I welcome all comments, photos below.

You sure are right about the surface detail. The rear vents look perfect as well as many other parts you highlighted. Not having built any tanks in ages, while looking for info and tutorials on weathering, I found a lot of military modelers on You Tube with some great tips. There probably are some military modeler online clubs too with features, reviews and tips. Thanx for sharing your work!

Awesome piece of modeling. I would have never believed it was your first.

Nice one Dan it looks like it's seen some action.
I've done a couple in braille scale myself and they are great fun.
