Stacey David's 32 Ford Rat Roaster
picked 2 kits up at NNL East this weekend......doing one somewhat like the box art
body painted
interior.....used the kit decals,they layed down perfect with some micro sol

Nice color match with the box art. It looks like the same paint. I dont get this kit at all, there is absolutely NOTHING rat about it.

I didn't see all of the show but he wasn't doing a rat rod but a rat roadster Stacey style

Excellent Craig. I watched the shows also as he built the car. The deal with the name is "Rat Roaster" not "Rat Roadster". Look at the model box in photo one. Several times during the build he said it was so hot it would "Roast a Rat Rod."

I had the same problem, these old eyes saw Roadster, not Roaster. :oops:

LOL..... it seems loads of people have the same problem. They see Roadster and not Roaster.

Excellent start on a great project Craig. The color is spot on perfect and one question? Did you drill out the holes in the panels? I've heard a bunch of people say they were disappointed they weren't open. Can't wait to see more! 8)

yes I drilled out the holes.....the kit supplied decal sheet has black dots for the holes but I thought real holes would look better

Ah, I see. You know the holes in the interior of the Rat Roaster were stuffed with leather and foam. Either way it's going to look great! The floor mats are a great touch too! 8)

Lookin' good! I love the detail on the Cherry Bombs! Got one on my Bronco and it got me popped too. LOL The engine and interior is comin' along nicely! Keep up the great work! 8)

thanks guys for all the nice comments.....if I had been Stacey I think I would have painted the engine maybe a lighter shade of green and not the red......but that's me :P
