My resin Bedford CA van. Actual colour is a darker blue- the flash lightened it. Decals are left over from the Bedford OSB tipper.
Not authenic for the colour or even the vehicle AFAIK.

A crude resin kit, took massive grinding (angle grinder!!) to trim the arround the wheel housings on the chassis. Not that happy with the paint job, so I'll dirty it up some- not
mudded up like 4 X 4, but more a thin film of grime, with some mud about the lower body.

Lurking in the background are two more WIPs, the Monza S drag car & the '37 Chev.

Man I remember the old CA Bedfords. They were THE van before Ford introduced the Transit.
The colour is perfect for it:

My old man had two of the camper conversions:

The decals lool spot on. Well done.
Is it from The Parts Box?

Yes, Al its from the parts box. The "chassis" is in paint ATM, I'll pick out what little detail there is over easter.

It should be finished in the next week or so. Thanks for the pics- they're the later version with the one piece windscreen.

Cheers,

Chris

No hemi, its a little known fact that the mighty 1500cc engine puts out more HP & torque than the Hemi. LOL.

In all honesty, I did toy with the idea of putting a chassis, tubs, etc under it. But its a crude curbside kit, with massively thick body sides, I decided not to.
And where ever possible I like to build my kits as they came from the factory- the '57 El Camino & Monza WIPs are a bit of a departure from my usual themes.

Cheers,

Chris
