About my worst modelling weekend
Firstly too hot to model, other than an hour or so early in the morning.
Two. Painted the bonnet for the Nova wagon, or I would have, had I the paint in stock. So off to buy more.
Three. Got the paint on, let it cure. Hair. Two of 'em. From where, who knows.
Four. Masked and painted the Lockheed Ventura wings. Only to discover more scratches that I'd missed. Put the Ventura back on the Shelf Of Doom.
Five. Decide to put all the stalled builds downstairs to ignore until I feel like dealing with them.
Six. The Ventura fuselage- filled, sanded, masked for paint falls to the floor, splitting seams.
That was it. Under the boot it went. One of the most cursed builds I've had to put up with.
Crushing it was cathartic. Good riddence.
The eventual upside: I found a double up in the stash, so off to FB Marketplace for them.
And the missing body for the '71 Toronado,
Rant ends.

Strange how putting all the stalled builds out of sight and mind improves one's modelling morale.
Put in two hours yesterday, before and after the day got too hot.
Everything was went well. Steering column on the Toronado, some BMF on the Nova wagon.
Days like that restore one's modelling mojo!

Another great day
The positive vibes continue. More BMF laid on the Nova, the Toronado is moving along, and I even dragged a '78 Monte Carlo from the Shelf Of Doom.
It too is progressing well.
Mojo back.
