Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT Lemans 2017

It's a 1/24 resin kit from Profil 24. No box art on these kits but here's a photo of the 1/1 car:


Here's some of what I have done so far (not much)


The body is done in white primer first, Mr. Surfacer.


I have to mask off the roof. I have this stuff called Parafilm that's perfect for the task.

Here's the interior. These 1/24 resin kits just don't have the detail of Tamiya kits. But I think it will look nice when finished. There were no decals for any of the instruments.

Great start.
It’s not an easy kit if you want to add all the “needed” details.

I think we’ve been spoilt by the good quality of plastic kits these days, but for any oddball car resin is the only option. Resin for me is usually too much of a battle to just get the body straight, so I don’t bother, but it looks like you have things in hand and it’s all looking good.

Now here's the body freshly painted It has Mr. Finishin Surfacer 1500 White primer, I used Scale Finishes Aston Martin 5183D Sterling Green with Testor's Clear glosscoat. So what your seeing is unpolished straight from the airbrush, a Grex Tritium TS3.

I don’t think the photos do the colour any justice - waiting to see it all polished up.
