BMX bikes anyone ?
Fancy something different ? BMX anyone ?
Simply because my grandson races BMX bikes, I came across these kits. All to 1/6th scale. Various designs are available, all computer generated and 3D printed in a single plastic colour to be glued together and painted.
The cost is about £30 + carriage each, here in the UK.
All clever stuff, and fills a hole in the market. If you want more info check out Scale BMX Builds on Facebook.

Wow! Talk about blast from the past! Three piece cranks, quick change sprocket, alloy seat clamp, Tuff wheels, plastic racing seat and Bear trap peddles. Talk about detail ! So it must have shimano brakes and hubs, alloy bars, chromoly frame and forks. Now if I could just remember what brand that gooseneck looks like.

That's a really interesting topic and build. It is bringing back memories. We used to call that pad on the crossbar the 'Knacker bar'.

I never had a BMX, the bike I had I built from parts from the local tip, it was a Raleigh frame which had the bars for the brake system, no wire cables, but they worked brilliantly...

Andy - I was born a bit early for BMX’s, but had a ‘track-bike’ made from a 18” frame bike with the rod brakes - but removed the front brake entirely
.....and fitted ‘cow-horn’ handlebars too. Just as much fun.
