Driverless Motorsport

I hope not - being part of the car and tackling the issues of the track are all part and parcel of motor racing.
Formula 1 is almost there. Drop any driver into different machines, and it can make a differences to the results - but generally, the car with the best tech wins.
The opposite if that is get drivers ALL to drive the exact same cars........and we all know how boring that is. 🥴

I'd like to see them all qualifying in a Golf GTi for 20 laps, you'd soon see who's fast.

Yeah, I read about it awhile back. All a team needs is a good hacker to come out on top.
I have no interest in Formula E either. If I can't hear the sound of a finely tuned race engine, I won't watch it.
