Here we go again.......

...... storm Dennis this time. The river is at 3m over norm and rising rapidly. If it gets to 4m, there is no doubt we WILL be flooded.

Skid.... I hope you dont suffer any real flooding issues there...been there myself awhile back when my basement flooded and was just sealed a few years ago. Water..etc. dose not mix with things very well in that situation. I only had about 2 1/2 feet of water in my basement but it took its toll on my precious collect of stuff...since my house is very small we had to put quite a few thing down there for storage ended up having to toss out many things that mattered to me and try to clean up what I could. As many of you know I dont only build/restore/collect models but I also collect old boxes/instructions/extras the kits came with/etc. for decades. Had to toss out about 10 trash bags of the old boxes and some had models in them from my childhood and my dads old collection..was horrible to go through. Now the ones I cleaned back up and found most of the parts for I will have to see if I can find the boxes for them and ones that really meant something to me..if at all possible..??? Boxes/etc. are not just to hold the kits or builds in to me..there works of art and make one smile just to look at. Keep your chin up brother...

Hang in there Al! You've survived and overcome this before. You can conquer this one too.
