1968 Dodge Charger R/T Is Finished

Yep, two motors! A 440 and a 426 Hemi! The Hemi would go into the race car version and the 440 is for the factory stock version. But, you can mix and match them any way you like!

I started to foil the Charger R/T today.  I still have to foil the wheel opening mouldings, then I'll be done.

I added the white tail stripe to the '68 Charger. I removed the side markers, added the stripe and reinstalled the side markers.

I need to cleanup around the side marker with some decal setting solution.

Looks pretty straight to me.

I needed to add another coat of Tamiya TS-54 Light Metallic Blue to the hood, front and rear valance panels to match the body, but I had run out of paint.  A trip to the local hobby shop got me another can of paint.


The body has been touched up in prep for clearcoating with Tamiya TS-13 Gloss Clear.

Very nice Mike, the rear panel is difficult to detail.

I had an epic 3 way build off of that kit years ago with Angelo and Geoff, I learned a lot.

Thanks dublin boy! I use to have a teacher of all things Mopar who had past away last year. I miss Dave aka Fury3 a lot! He used to work for Chrysler Corp. many years ago.

The body, interior and chassis are now one piece! I inserted the dome light, windows, and interior rear view mirror and joined them all together. I am getting to the point that I just want this one off the bench!
