Re: Butch Leal
I was thinking of earlier, but this one is another fine example of the doorslammers. Thanx!

Beautiful modern dragster, I'd like one of those. Have you a pic of the box art?

Here's the kit box. Unfortunately it has been out of production for decades. I will warn you now, if you find one it can be a handful of frustrations. I built this kit back in the '80's just like the box art, and it went together fine. However, this kit I bought off ebay about two years ago was a nightmare. Nothing fit correctly and the entire build became one giant correction and adjustment after another. I understand that the re-release of the Reher-Morrison Camaro Pro Stock was full of the same issues.

There's more satisfaction in getting an old kit to eventually go together.

No sir, this was a kit I got about two years ago off ebay, I had gotten the Fred Cady decals years before finding the kit available ........ I puttied the hood scoop, primered and painted it, decaled it, and then let it sit while I endured one of my common building slumps ..... finally got off my duff and finished it (although it was a serious battle).
