1964 MV Agusta 500 four
The Italeri kit left a lot to be desired, but the subject matter superseded any of the kits shortcomings. The thing that bothers me most about this kit is the #2. Mike Hailwood was world champion in 1963. So I can't help thinking he would have been riding a machine marked as #1. I was unable to confirm this through admittedly limited research. Regardless; Hailwood, MV Agusta, and of course Giacomo Agostini dominated the senior class for many years. I find the machines of that era beautiful in their simplicity and design. But then, I never tried to race one either.

A beautifully clean build, Cole. And a nice touch having the poster in the photos.

Nice job, Cole. I built the 3-cyl version, and also found it to leave a lot to be desired. I think it's the nature of Italeri kits as my 74 Yamaha was a little crude also.

I did the 3 cylinder version a few years back and it has the world champions No1.
Nice job Cole, it looks great.
