'53 Panel Truck Gasser
This was a build from one of the old early '70's Revell POJ kit, a real dog. So bad that I glued the hood and doors shut, and used tinted glass.
Paint is Red Bull blue, red with gold pearl mixed in.
I built this about 5yrs ago, man time flies.
I'd love to do one again in low rider fashion with a low ride spin on this paint job and colours.

Re: '53 Panel Truck Gasser
Thanks gents, I appreciate the comments.
Mr H, can't open the hood, CA'ed it shut.
This is just another shelf model, that looks good from far bit is far from great. I am happy with the paint over all. Of course there are spots that could have been touched up, but in some cases I like to leave my mistakes visible, they help me to be mind full of what and what not to do.

Sorry, you did mention the hood was shut at the top. I need to be more alert.

You turned that pooch into something worth looking at. I remember those 2 piece front tyres too!

Thanks Al.
Total junk tire's for sure. Thanks for the kind words, glad you like it.
One of the crazy talented guys over on that huge wacky model site took one of these and spent a ton of time correcting all the imperfections. He completely redid the front clip using a 53 coupe kit front end that he moded up, also went as far as cutting out and replacing the windshield section, I forget what else. It was wild.

Re: '53 Panel Truck Gasser
Well done indeed. Excellent design of paint. It hides the rear fender side hump, one of the dated looks for it. BTW, I built the Revell (?) '53 or '54 as a patriotic one too! Yours is much better than mine!

Thanks Kats. It is actually how the original box art depicts this kit, the sponsor and class tag are my additions, based off the original bow art.
