'39 Chevrolet 2 Dr
As part of my mission to get all my stalled builds going again, I got stuck into this one. Parts bin front suspension & wheels, rear suspension is
the kit rear axle converted to a 4 link coil.
Removed the moulded in exhaust & fuel tank. Interior next, parts bin buckets to the rescue, the rest is a wait n see.

Great progress. The interior tub gives it a weird look without the body, kind of like a heavily modified bathtub racer. The engine looks great as well

Moving right along. After seeing so many "modern"updates and reinforcements on frames, yours in gold looks simplified, clean. Interior shapes up to be better than what it came with. Somebody should do a tutorial on converting dashboards to right or left hand drive. With some dashes it can be hard.

Re: '39 Chevrolet 2 Dr
Hauled this out of the 'stalled builds' dept, and spent a useful two hours on it today. My Dremel has died ( while I was away-mystery) so it was a schoolboy hack job on the roof. I've also sanded the beltline mouldings off, and lowered the waistline too.
It's also staying LHD, since I've found a dash in the stash. Some mock up pics:

Great to see this back on the bench! The 'schoolboy hack job' looks pretty darn good in the photos. Looking forward to seeing the development

Nice paint job! And the new seat colour really pops out in contrast.
