Re: 1/24 london bus diorama
Hi all, well the bus is done
Here are the cars for it (I've realised I didn't put the lotus in it) I think it's looking quite busy.

Re: 1/24 london bus diorama
Hi all next update, started the London taxi, I must say I'm a bit disappointed (not the kit it's good enough) it's just I could have knocked it out in a day easily, it is a VERY simple kit, yes it looks like a London taxi but maybe if it had a full engine or maybe the door handles were separate parts, I don't know what they could have done but it really is a simple kit.The kit is rated skill level 3 personally I think it should be level 1.
Anyway I've also started the Italari phantom 2 rolls royce (I've spent the same amount of time on this so you can see the difference) the taxi only needs the glass and body on half an hour, let dry add decals done in 2 hrs

Way to go on the bus, it looks fantastic! The diorama is developing impressively, I look forward to the further developments.

Re: 1/24 london bus diorama
Hi all well the taxi is finished (definitely not skill level 3 as the instructions suggest) I could easily done it in a day.
I did some more to the roller
Also started a paper model of a classic London Police box (never done a paper model before and it's a strughle)

Awesome work! The taxi is great as are the police boxes but that 'neon' signage really pops the thing more than a few notches. Looking forward to the full Theatre frontage as well as everything else, lol.

Re: 1/24 london bus diorama
Hi all here is the next update, I've got to say this is THE very first kit I've ever built with no decals, not even for the dash a kit with a few disappointments the colours have codes at the start of the instructions but that is the only mention of them so apart from the box art there is no mention of what colour anything should be. Anyway here is where I am now.

Re: 1/24 london bus diorama
Hi all well the roller is finished, going to shelve this dio for a while as I'm starting to just chuck them together just to finish them and I'm not giving it my best so will come back to it when I feel more like doing it justice
Here is everything I have for the dio so far.

Re: 1/24 london bus diorama
Hi all here's the next update I made the break and fuel lines out of stripped network wires
I much prefer larger scales, I mean look how small this engine is
Compared to this
Those window blind slats are 4 inches (approximately 100 mill)
How you guys add so much detail to 1/24 kits I take my hat off to you.

A large amount of work for me to catch up with, all of it looking great. The detailing on that teeny engine is superb.

Hi all here's the next update
Don't know if anyone remembers them but made the cable that used to run from the door levers
And started on the next building
