High Elves
I am slowly painting High Elves for my sons as a keep sake.
I just finished these archers to add to the spear men. the Spear men actually have an unusual history. They went missing for nearly 3 years after being in a display for the public.. I later found them at my front door, in a used condition; missing shields etc and I had to do some touch up work
Still I am happy they were returned as they were painted for my Eldest son.
I hope you like them
Other Elves
Painted over the last few years
For my youngest son

Re: High Elves
Hi Tyberius. Some of your pictures are not displaying but from the ones I can see I think they're very good. I like the way you use small pebbles on the bases. I used to do these Citadel figures years and years ago and still have a shedload of the old Citadel paints which still work well after around 20 years. I've tried to get replacements but they've all changed the names. I now use the plate mail and chain mail techniques on engine blocks. I'm goint to hunt out some old photos of mine and put them up here as you've put me in mind of it. Thanks for the reminder.

Re: High Elves
Clean, careful and (I'm sure) tedious work! It reminds me of the cult game Dungeons and Dragons as well as 1960s group Steeleye Span's tune "700 Elves." Thanx!
