Old MPC Jeep CJ (MORE Pictures Added)

Had to make my own doors for the half cab.
This was a built model at one time. Got broken moving and handed off to my oldest son who also had another jeep kit with a bunch of pieces missing. He passed it on to his younger twin brothers who painted it three time red, blue and orange.(was originally orange)
Now I have it back and between all the parts and the part box I almost have it done!

Doors! Cool idea. It is one of the truly icons of American culture with a history of ownership as diverse as the vehicle was nearly unchanged for decades. Thanx for a real interesting idea on this one.

A bit more, I'll try and get a picture up in a while.
In the final steps of finishing an 86 Elcamino that I slipped into the mix.
Have three going on the bench and need to clear it soon!

I had to laugh because today I was painting at work with a shade of red very close to the one you used. Looking good!
