PostSubject: Boris the Bionicle...   Sat 16 Apr 2016, 1:24 pm

Hi all,

I have had Boris for a few years now and have always wanted to paint him but I never got round to it, well, I finally got round to it...

This is him before, (I forgot to put his helmet on for the photo sorry)...: -

And this is him now...: -

I made his sword from the arm out of an old hard-drive, I reshaped the top and popped on some round styrene tube, to top is from an old circuit board, it was part of a resistance coil...: -

Many thanks for looking, please let me know what you think and anyway I can improve him...

Andy...

That looks so much better than the daft gaudy colours you get them in originally ....

Love the imagineering with the sword, great stuff.

And it's nice to see something different (done well) on the forum, makes for an even more varied experience when we visit.

Hi Al & Colin,

Many thanks both...

I just wish I had gotten a few of them Colin, the prices they are going for now is crazy...

That is a cool weapon you have fashioned there. Boris looks like one tough MoFo, nice work.
