Jeep Ambulance, Italerai, 1/35
got this for christmas and been itching to make a start
i can remember doing this about 35 years ago and enjoying it
you get the choice of doing an American version or a British one, not sure which im going to do, will see if i can find a figure to go with it
didnt take long to get this far

Always have liked the WWII Willys and Ford Jeeps. We have had a 1942 Ford GPW in the family since 1955

so gave it coat of Kleer first thing then put the decals on, gone for the US Army version rather than the Brit one
must say the decals were some of the nicest ive used on any kit for ages, wentt on with no drama at all
next step is a wash to highlight things then an oil wash to add some variation to the colour

Decals really help the otherwise dull monocolor. Looking forward to the detailing.

I really love it when decals slide into place with no snags, creases or other problems. It's looking good Paul.

These armor kits have some of the coolest stuff !!
Sure wish 1:24 was more popular. But, then again, I'd probably spend all my funeral money !!
