Tamiya's kit. This model was featured in the Nov/Dec 2011 issue of Karmann Komment, the magazine of the Karmann Ghia Club of Great Britian.

Ghias used to give me a chuckle.  A sporty beetle?!  No way!  They were rare here in the U.S. often done in a 2-tone paint scheme.  Nice clean work  on a model kit I didn't know ever came out.  Great there's an engine in it too, rather than just as a "curbside!"
