ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Southern California Timing Association has canceled Bonneville Speed Week for the second year in a row. This time it is due to thin salt and the danger of running 100s of miles per hour on an unstable surface. Made my day!!!!! At least this year Al did not make the trek from Newcastle to Salt Lake City.

Not my fault this time John!  

Hard to believe it's been almost a year now!! That's scary.

Heard anything more about it's future?

I had heard a couple months ago that this might happen. How sad.

But some people can have a good time even without the fast cars.

Yup!! we still had a great tome alright.

That bloke second right looks a bit dodgy ..... (thats it i'm banned lol)

Shame about it again this year .... this time i think health and safety has been fair and it would be accident after accident if it were to run.

lets hope that it all thickens up and is safe to run on next year ... be terrible to lose this feature from the worlds "racing calendar"

Got to say, that is sure a rag tag looking bunch. We did have one good time though in spite of no racing.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!  Thanx for a wonderful start to the day!  So sorry to hear of the loose flats.  Imagine the disappointment in folks who built machines for the run.  Better safe than sorry.
