As a young automotive engineer in training, I almost jumped ship onto the styling end of things. Then came to my senses and determined that I was too "practical" to be that creative.

In  an issue of my 1963 mag, "Model Car Science" they showed the Fisher body car design contest entries.  Teens, mostly, made replicas of their ideas.  Very aerodynamic, racy looking and some had bubble tops.  There are a number of images on the Net of similar designs.  Thanx.
