Nice looking kit, are you doing it standard red, white and blue or are you going to put a twist on it?
The Camel livery is quite a nice variation.
did a track day on a mate of mines ... just a tad over 100 brake horse but jeeeezz ... you need to put your brain in a bucket of custard before you let loose !!!

Hi all well not a great experiment but at least I now know, now I just have to see if oven cleaner will take the gold leaf off and the acryllic size.
I've also learned you cant mask with just masking fluid.

Seems we always learn something new with each build. Keep after it. Looks good.

Hi all well I'm learning lots with this build, oven cleaner takes the gold off ok but not the size, the size is still sticky so you could probably guild it again, if you try and sand it you get lots of little sticky particles all over the part that you cant get off white spirt wont touch it, but, eureka methylated spirits gets it off.

Hi all here is a small update on this one.
I realise the tank and body panels are too shiney for the state the rest of the bike is in but when I've decided on the rest of the colour scheme I will be dulling it down.
