Volvo (really!) drag car

Thought I'd inflict this collection of right angles at you. Volvo 760 by Italeri. Built in the 90s, rebuilt in the 2000s (ie before I fell into the
web of depravity that is Bucks/Skids forum)

and why not?......back in the 90's all the other teams laughed at volvo when they said they were entering into British Touring Car.....even more so when it turned out to be an estate....the running joke was were they going to have a caravan on the back too..........laughing stopped when the racing started and it turned out to be competative

Same as what I believe I saw in a Volvo magazine ad long ago, with a station wagon in sedan "saloon" racing of the '60s '70s.

I love it. I think the idea rocks and the model is way cool.

Here ya go. Another memory of these is at a motor show in the '80s. My mate Wayne said in a loud whisper, "30 grand worth of right angles"
Volvo flunkies were not impressed.

I kinda always liked the building blocks look of most Volvos, it's especially cool as a dragster!

Since its a Volvo it's the safest car on the strip!

That car look right at home set up like that. Cool!
