Opel Blitz Fire Engine
Done, I've got some minor touchups & a drivers door handle to sort, otherwise here goes! I've opened up half the bonnet, wired the engine, battery, spotlight & the dash instruments. Hoses were heated & bent for a sagged look.
The hose on the drum at the back is heat shrink, ironed flat & glued into position. Paint is auto store rattle can.
I built this as a post war version, with some fictional chrome accents to glam it up.

An unusual subject is always a winner when it's done this well.
That paint job is mega smooth and impressive (or have you just got better outdoor lighting down under lol)

Great looking fire truck. The paint work is beautiful and all the little improvements are great. A unique subject.

Fantastic job Chris. Great looking details, glossy red paint and fabulous ladder. And as Mike said, a fun unique subject.
