Hello group. First of all, thank you for accepting me into this forum. I was recommended to join by A5h.

I currently live in the north east of the UK in a tiny village known as Haydon Bridge, around 25 miles west of Newcastle upon Tyne.

I have been making model kits since 1976 but have just recently over the last three years been able to devote much more time to this hobby. I specialise in cars, mainly factory spec usually around the late 60's early 70's but I am not adverse to making modern vehicles really. I like to think that attention to detail is the key in making a good end result and i'm almost obsessive in that aspect. I hope to improve my skills here by seeking advice on a number of things as this group seems to be a good one.

Once again, thank you for accepting me, now i'll go and have a good read of your rules.

Hi welcome to Skids. Only a mile from Al's farm and both on the other side of the planet from me! But the internet makes our modelling world a smaller place.
