Henschel HS 126B-1 (144th scale)
Ok maybe i'm just going mad and need psychiatric help but i saw this in my LMS and thought i'd have a go.
It only has 14 parts and is supposed to be a snap together .... but.... i've lopped off the lugs so i have more wiggle room
a few bits cleaned and painted, thought i'd get the yellow on first.
Using my favorite filler again (correction fluid) ... before and after shots
The prop and cowling assembly ( 5p for reference (about dime size)
The wheels and tyres have no detail, after pondering i came up with this.... cut the hairs from an old brush, heat it up and use the tube to highlight the wheel area, drill small hole in centre for axle nut.

Thanks guys
Paul, room is an issue, i still have a 4ft x 3ft MASH diorama in the spare room under the bed waiting to be finished off and displayed "somewhere"
so then, tonights endeavours .....
Got the main struts on the wings, gave it a coat of paint after filling some ejector holes and made up some little struts that need attaching that aren't in the kit.
attached the undercarriage assembly, filled gaps. Added a step under the cockpit and slung a meteorological device under the fusalage.
I've just realised I've been a retard and posted this in the "finished" forum
Can someone with God like powers please move it to the proper "in progress" area... Cheers.

It's a great little kit for a couple of quid Al. I'm really enjoying it and there's room for some extra detailing.
Thanks for moving the thread, I'm sharing my brain cell with a cabbage at the mo.

Re: Henschel HS 126B-1 (144th scale)
I got to thinking that all the little extras that i'm adding will be overshadowed by the fact that there isn't any cockpit detail ...so ......I went for it!!
This bit was fiddly .... its 15mm x 5mm, should look ok painted up
It'll be hard to see through the cockpit glass but it'll be there.
Just need to make up the machine gun post, front instrument panel ... but the seating bit needs fitting first.

Hi Colin,
How on earth do you manage to work on something so darn small, I love the cockpit, it will finish it off nicely...

Re: Henschel HS 126B-1 (144th scale)
i would imagine there would have been bowel movements during some missions ...heh heh
Thank for the comments guys.
Gave it a coat of paint and camo.
The seating assembly is in and glued, did some basic dials on the dash and high lighted the centre console, painted the pilots seat and the toilet :)
The canopy was painted and looked quite good (considering its size) went to dry fit it and the solid back fouled on the centre console so ive had to file it all down (arrowed) and will have to repaint the frame again ..... doh!!!

The cockpit is looking good for such a tiny model Colin. Well done.
I'll lookout for the canopy problem when I build mine.

Re: Henschel HS 126B-1 (144th scale)
Thanks Al.
Canopy is an issue if you add detailing for the cockpit.
the wheels are detail-less and are very weak so watch it when you attempt to detail them.
the Lugs that "line up" the bodywork etc..... don't exactly.
The lug for attaching the prop assembly was slightly off set so i lopped it off and just glued together.
apart from that it was an enjoyable kit to do ..... looking forward to Pauls' 144th build off now.
Calling it finished
