Finished & over the line ! Mostly OOB, added an aftermarket dizzy & leads, solder oil cooler lines & a masking tape window net.
For more boring detail, check out the WIP thread.

The colour is actually darker than it looks. I kept the wheels chrome because I prefer them that way. Hate black wheels.

Straight forward build, only thing to give agro was the 'Sunoco' decals on the rear quarters. Still gotta do the bonnet holddowns in silver or BMF.

Other than that that it's ready to go into the Oldsmobile/Buick display cabinet.

Best part of the photograph is the sunshine Chris.
I haven't seen blue skies for a week, never mind sun.
.....and yes, your model is great, of course - chrome wheels would be my choice.

Mr D,

We have had a little sun down here, but, Mr W will still have all that lovely warm stuff that we in the UK never really get, although saying that, it did hit 55f here today which was nice...

That was a very nice car and paint scheme. You did a fine job and thanx for the fotos. Wheels, funny how styles change. These days the "boy racers" seem to luv the "neon" colored (green, red, pink, etc.) matte finish ones. They make me cringe!!!!

Great build sir ........... I love it (I love most all Terry Labonte cars) ........... very nicely done (but the chrome wheels were a no-no in '91 & '92)  Sunoco Olds 1705482731

A valid point, wasn't to do with wheel balance weights coming off?

I just prefer the look of chrome over black wheels.

Cheers,

Chris

Yes sir, at close to 200 mph the chrome wheels had a tendency to throw their wheel balance weights off like bullets ........ and that was dangerous to other cars and spectators ....... but I'm with you, I like the chrome wheels better Sunoco Olds 3298140763
