Ferrari Team Hauler

This is a build of the only big rig I have built so far. It was done on a now dead forum called BMC.

Yes...it's very big

First thing was to assemble the tractor chassis.

 

I used to work for an Iveco-Ford Truck dealer,
and the chassis was originally painted a semi gloss Red Oxide colour
- similar to Mercedes Benz trucks.
I also had a Class 2 Commercial Vehicle licence,
and delivered similar units, as long as the fifth wheel wasn't fitted.

Man o man, when it's done it will be beautiful! I've never seen builds of the Euro-Revell semis, so I'll be most interested. Thanx for another rare treat!

I used the glass top of a coffee table to keep everything straight and level.

Got one in the stash somewhere. Even the first release never came with a car but the Subaru kit did as did the Yamaha bike one. Good start Paul but I would have been tempted to dump the plastic front axle for a white metal one. Reason being one kid near it and they are destroyed in seconds. Big rig front axles snap for fun. I,ve lost count how many I,ve replaced.

Tony, I'm good then cause I don't have any kids around.  Italeri has a Honda Gp version with a bike and a Citroen WRC version with a car.

Looks like they did a good job on suspension details! Your work is worthy of the kit. I'll wait for a great completion.
