The ole Shoebox - '50 Ford Vert
Well, this is one of my Thrift Store beauties that I got for $2 bux in Kansas City, MO. Someone had cut out the doors, shaved the front upper A-Arms from the frame, the grill was broken, and it was missing the vinyl tires.
So what I have done so far is French the headlights, cut out the trunk lid, started jambing the doors, cut everything off the grill but left the Bullet and Wings. I also cut out the back of the custom grill and am going to make it a custom tucked and rolled front bumper with attached grill surround. The Bullet was modded to sit perfectly inside the middle. I am going to subframe the front and possibly narrow down the rear frame for wider tires. The Wheel Track on this car was horrible. The front tires were tucked under it so bad that you could put two tires under each fender. The rear tires hit the body and I know if it was a 1:1 that it would never move. So here's pics of where I am.
Enjoy! This is gonna be a bumpy ride! LoL

What's the plan for this build Jason? And did you chop the windscreen?

Trying to subframe the front it broke. So I put it away till I can come up with a plan B (which means I'll be building one). Engine choice is still up in the air but thinking modern power plant. Still a lot of decisions left. Windscreen may or may not get chopped. We'll see.
