Porsche 911 GT2
so after doing the street rod i fancy doing another car, pulled this out of the stash
Tamiya's venerable Porsche 911 GT2
i did this a very long time ago and as i remember it went together with no drama, back then i did it in a metallic grey, this time i plan on doing it in a colour, not sure what yet, possibly red, maybe electric blue.......it dosnt come with any number plates but the spares box will come up with something

Nice. Looks like there's a few extra bits and bobs for the spares box when you're finished.

Nice work with the 5 point harness! Never an easy thing to get right at that scale.

Looking great Paul. That ribbon always makes great looking harness material.

Erm... Its an automotive industry term..... Spent too long init lol...... Its the black bits around glass which hides the sealant in the frame or the rubber seals around glass

A set of gold centered wheels should make that red paint pop nicely.

most screens these days are sealed in with black butyl so the black surround hides the metal bits.....take a look next time you go out

Great progress! That body colour is something else, a 10 second view left vivid afterimages in my eyes. I really like the sharpness of the contrast between the red interior and the white roll cage as well.

Re: Porsche 911 GT2
unfortunatly this is on the back burner for a while
had a shade mismatch on parts, even though everything thing got the same number of coats
so its going to get the paint stripped and started again..........will be red though since the chassis is complete and red!
