1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 "Truck 54"
So this is a kit that I have had in the stash for awhile now. I bought it to build a kit to replicate one of the work trucks that I used at my work. The 1/1 truck is decommissioned, however her legend still lives on. It was an 05' GMC, so the front clip and interior are different, but unfortunately no one makes a resin GMC front clip, so this is close enough for me.
Its the first release of this kit. If anyone can tell me, does the new release of the Silverado include factory wheels and ride height or is it just the low rider?
Engine assembled
There were a lot of chrome parts that needed to be stripped.
The 1/1 truck, as you can see the front clip is very different. I plan to scratch-build the back-rack, and "buddy ramp" on the back.
Thanks for lookin!

It's not a bad kit either. From memory, the front springs aren't detailed, so I made some solder ones to do the job.

O-o-o-o-o! Cool start. I know nothing about the bigger engines in the recent trucks, so this will be a learning experience for me. Thanx!
