Re: 50's prostreet
My initial hope for all of this white was to have tribal style flames. Alas, this seems to be not working out. Believe me, it doesn't look all that good in person. I will have to repaint the hood. I think I will get better results with an old pinstriping brush and long sweeping Cincinnati style frames. We'll see.
I've used that Corvette fender skull thingy theme before, I may try to work something in on the 51

Good go Clay. Painting on the curves of the hood is are hard enough, throw in doing it at this scale and you have a serious steep challenge.
Best of luck Clay, I am sure you'll come up with something that will look boss.

Trying to control curves and lines on a flat surface is tuff enuf, let alone a compound curved one. Glad you gave it a try. Every attempt is experience!

A brave attempt at some seriously convoluted curves on curves. Just the thought of trying something like that makes me tense up, lol. Can't wait to see what you come up with next

Sweet looking '51 Clay
I just finished a '51 re-build, I had planned on parting it out
but, it just keep telling me to rebuild it as a Hot Rod
Thank You for sharing
Very glad I found you again

Whew ! It's been a while, but I have worked my way back out to the shop. I have finished painting the graphics and have a coat of clear on it. Not the most tidy, but I'm getting too old for delicate, fine control stuff any more!

Now that is COOL..! I wish I could have the skills and talent to hand paint stuff like that.
