Re: Bantam II
I admire your work ethic! Best of luck. I'm curious as to if you'll scribe in door lines or leave it like a "top loader"?

Re: Bantam II
I am enjoying this one: I like the free flowing parts box fabrications like the grille. Also the 6 looks innerestin.

Re: Bantam II
Grabbed a sprint car wing to use as the firewall. I chose this because of the parallel lines that mimic those on the rear of the body.
Here is the firewall - pre putty to blend it in. Also are the components of the engine. I made the blower intake from the curved side of an old Alacart hood. Pulleys are separated and I'll be using painted medical tape for the new belts. I'm still considering the lines on the firewall. They may be too much of a distraction.

Re: Bantam II
Crafted some basic exhaust pipes from solder and plastic tubes.
I also scrounged the wheels and tires for the build. Using the advise and comments from my earlier Bantam build, I went with a smaller street tire on the rear this time around (instead of slicks) I couldn't find an inner rim with the correct off set so I used a second set of rims after trimming them down about 2mm

Re: Bantam II
Really good work. Since it's a parts box rod, anything goes, but the front grille is pretty tall. Old style wheels could look fine. Seat idea is different and a welcome addition.

A good tip for blower belts are to use old computer printer belts...they look very realistic. Just cut to sized and glue them on.

Re: Bantam II
Looking good so far. Lines don't appear distracting to me - might add a small gusset to the frame at the bottom like some of the oldies had.
